About me
I’ve spent most of my life around sport — playing it, breaking down through it, and ultimately understanding it from the inside out.
I grew up playing every sport I could. At 16, a rugby injury to my back left me unable to properly contract my core without severe spasm. That experience shaped how I think about pain to this day: not as something that’s simply “wrong,” but as a system that’s lost trust, coordination, or tolerance to load.
Years later, during university, persistent back pain returned. Traditional treatment helped only marginally. What made the difference was movement — first through yoga and bodyweight training, then later through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Despite being physically demanding and unpredictable, it resolved symptoms that had become debilitating: disrupted sleep, inability to sit comfortably, and constant low-level pain. That contrast stuck with me.
Professionally, I trained in sports rehabilitation, graduating with a first-class distinction. I completed placements with professional teams including Bristol Bears and Yeovil Town FC, where I was recognised specifically for my soft-tissue skills and clinical reasoning. While I enjoyed working in elite sport, I realised I was more interested in depth than volume — working closely with individuals rather than rotating through squads.
I later worked independently in France, delivering treatment in both luxury retreat environments and sports rehabilitation settings, managing everything from persistent pain to acute injuries. That experience reinforced something I already believed: the environment, the pace, and the quality of attention matter just as much as the technique.
Today, my work is focused on active people who want their body to function properly again — not just feel looser for a day. Sessions are calm, hands-on, and deliberately unhurried, combining deep tissue and fascial techniques with a clear understanding of load, movement, and nervous system response.
If you train, value your physical capability, and want treatment that respects both performance and longevity, this approach will make sense to you.
